Justice and Equity for All

My work as the founder of Minnesota Wrongfully Convicted Judicial Reform has shown me how deeply inequities are embedded in our systems. I will continue advocating for reforms that address racial disparities, protect constitutional rights, and empower residents to create the change they want to see. Justice must be the foundation of our policies, not an afterthought. I will continue this fight on the City Council, ensuring that every policy we create is rooted in equity and the needs of those most impacted by systemic injustice.

Marvina was one of the biggest drivers who freed her brother Marvin Haynes after being wrongfully incarcerated for 19 years. Marvin was convicted in 2005 despite there being no physical or forensic evidence and Marvin not fitting eyewitness testimonies of what the shooter looked like.
